Since 1966, there has been a swimming pool store at this location when Bicknell Pools moved here from Summer Street in Boston. Bicknell became the most trusted name in pools in New England …. now Central Pools and Spas carries on that tradition today.

Conveniently located on Rte. 30 in Framingham at Mass Pike Exit 13, Central’s showroom proudly displays spas by Coleman, an extensive stock of pool/spa chemicals and supplies, and one of the largest parts departments in New England.

Mike Besso -- CPO Instructor

Mike started working at this location in the swimming pool industry for Bicknell Pools in 1971. He brings 34 years of knowledge to serve you in all areas of pool and spa construction, design, renovation and repair. Mike keeps quite current with leading edge technologies and has been a CPO Instructor (Certified Pool Operator), teaching courses in pool operations and water chemistry, since 1997. He plays an integral role in product selection for the store, ensuring that the quality and performance of the products offered at Central are the best solutions for your pool or spa.

The author of “Mike’s Tips” on this web site, Mike has worked for years in virtually every aspect of pool and spa design, installation, operation and repair. He currently is General Manager for Central Pools & Spas.

Rob Barillot -- Store Manager

Rob is the Store Manager for Central Pools & Spas where he heads up the Spa/ Hot Tubs products group. Having worked in all aspects of pool and spa field service, in both retail store and in backyard design/sales for pools and spas, Rob came to Central Pools after working four years with a major northeast distributor of spas and pool equipment and chemicals.

He has completed the complete Coleman Spas Factory Training Program, is CPO Certified (Certified Pool Operator) and keeps current with numerous water chemistry, equipment and new product seminars. With 23 years of industry experience, Rob can help you with product information, selection and sizing of products that fit your needs, or simply finding the right part that you need.
